Fun News! I'm featured in Harper's Bazaar's August Style Q&A. Here's a bit of what I confess to my street style alma mater:
HB: DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE IN THREE WORDS
Colorful, mix-n-match, inspired.
HB: STYLE ICON
My mother-in-law Francesca. She has an incredible sense of style. Her mother once said she came out of the womb with a certain elegance.
HB: FIRST FASHION MEMORY
My mother and my aunt dressing me up as a little girl. They changed my outfit and combed my hair multiple times a day.
HB: WHAT WOULD YOU NEVER WEAR?
Never say never.
HB: HAVE YOU EVER WORN ANYTHING THAT YOU LATER REGRETTED?
I've worn a lot of things that I probably should regret. But I've developed a style sense of humor over the years, and I usually laugh off my fashion faux pas.
Pick up the issue with the incredibly gorgeous Rihanna on the cover. You'll find another Style Q&A on one of my favorite style icons Holli Rogers and an awesome editorial styled by my friend Joanna Hillman and shot by another good friend Tommy Ton.
Thank you so much to Christine Whitney for our fun e-mail conversations! And very special thanks to Glenda Bailey, Anamaria Wilson, and Kristina O'neill for featuring me in this month's issue.

Well done, anothe feature looking forward for when it arrives in UK, which are your favourite magazines u enjoy buying?
I just got this magazine and was happily surprised to see you featured. I encountered the same happy surprise recently on Style-Like-U.com Congrats on all the great press, you deserve it!
Tamu- I am so intrigued by your mother-in-law. You are always mentioning her and her style. Would love to either see a few pictures of her, or else read an interview with her. Perhaps one where she talks about her essentials or where she gives tips on personal style. Any chance of that?
