I took a little break from drinking coffee this Spring. You know the saying, too much caffeine isn't good for you. My break wasn't particularly difficult, I just indulged in lots of delicious teas from Mariage Frères.
However, as lovely as a fragrant cup of tea can be at 7am, my detox
thankfully ended as Summer kicked off in Forte Dei Marmi and
signaled my return to my favorite breakfast spot, Hotel Principe Forte Dei Marmi. Guys! In addition to being a lovely boutique hotel with gorgeous
views and a full service SPA, it serves a mean cup of coffee. I don't know about you, but for me, the coffee is equally important as the SPA. Lol. For those of you who are informed or are just curious, the coffee is brewed using the Douwe Egberts Cafitesse system. If you are
ever in the area, please stop by. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteI also try to take coffee brakes now and then... but not for long time because coffee is an important part of my day. You know when you sit down and have that first delicious sip from just made hot coffee.... it's delightful!

Oh my gosh don't remind me - I lived off one coffee a day during pregnancy and it was the worst 8 months of my life (thank god my daughter came early!!) xx
ReplyDeleteIf you are in the area do visit Pietrasanta it's truly a magical little town. I have the best memories of visiting my friends there and sipping on a delicious cappuccino on the main square.
